Many foreign media outlets and experts alike have praised the country’s response to contain the outbreak, particularly its transparent disclosure of information. So how has the country been able to provide such speedy updates on various information like the infection path of confirmed patients? Also, how is the South Korean government addressing the privacy risks concerning its tracking and data collection efforts?
