The global economy is reeling after the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic on March 11. Local and foreign stock markets plummeted and international crude oil prices dropped.
Everything is hazy for the global economy. Some experts say that COVID-19 will bring about an economic recession that's far greater than the 2008 financial crisis. On this week's #Korea 4.0, we take a look at the financial market, as well as the economic situation and variables in and outside of Korea affected by COVID-19. In addition, COVID-19 will be prolonged so we meet with experts to discuss what kind of measures are needed to prevent a financial crisis.
