Theme parks are not all about wild rides and games. Korea has its share of unique theme parks--from Geoje Maengjongjuk Park for healing in nature to the nostalgic Hapcheon Video Theme Park and the historical Theme Park of the Tripitaka Koreana. We introduce theme parks that can only be found in Korea!
Maengjongjuk is a type of bamboo that reaches a height of 10-20 meters and has the widest culms among the bamboo species. About 30,000 of these bamboo trees make up the Maengjongjuk Park in Geoje, which makes for a perfect retreat in nature. Soo-yeon tries various activities at the park, including bamboo acupressure. Join her on a long strong through the green bamboo forest.
Hapcheon Video Theme Park is a large-scale outdoor set for the 20s-80s backdrop and has appeared in various period dramas and movies. From buildings that were built during the Japanese Occupation to post-liberation Seoul. Mariel walks through the modern history of Korea—join her at the historical Hapcheon Video Theme Park.
