The U.S. started opening up towards North Korea, requesting the reclusive state to return to talks, but Pyeongyang turned down another summit this year, saying that it is “useless.” But North Korean leader’s sister Kim Yo-jong hinted at a possibility of further talks with the U.S. by mentioning in a statement that his brother and Trump have a special relationship. Meanwhile, the Blue House is yet to respond to the latest statement. What would South Korea do to mediate the two sides? How would the U.S.-N. Korea relations unfold down the stretch?
