A Glimpse into the Lives of Modern-day Young Adults

Back in 2016, Jung Hyun-woo and Lee Hye-min tied the knot by walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain. The reasoning behind this decision was that they thought the traditional white wedding didn’t suit them at all and they also wanted to get rid of all the empty formalities and vanity in their wedding.
After that adventure-like wedding ceremony, they realized that they didn’t need to follow society’s conventions, which are often seen as the “ideal” answers. To spread more autonomous ways of living, they created a YouTube channel called “Private Stories of Modern-Day Young People” and conduct various projects. Also, they say that today’s young adults work to explore all the opportunities the world has to offer, while seeking purpose and value. Meet the two and take a glimpse into the lives of modern-day young adults.

Greenhouse healing area, Garden Support Center

A transparent glass-made greenhouse center dubbed the Nowon Garden Support Center has newly opened in Buramsan Healing Town, a lesser-known park in Seoul. It consists of a home gardening shop, which sells plant pots and flowers, a pet plant hospital that treats plants and teaches plant management know-how, and an eco-friendly cafe that offers beverages made with homegrown mints. We visit the Nowon Garden Support Center, which provides people affected by the prolonging COVID-19 a place to relax and find comfort in nature.
