Korean New Deal – Green New Deal

In July 2020, the Korean government announced its Green New Deal as part of the Korean New Deal to address the dual crises of climate change and runaway equality. It has three core pillars of economic growth, environmental maintenance, and social equity, and a total of 74 trillion KRW (approx. US$67 billion) will be invested and 690,000 jobs will be created by 2025 for that. What more does this new initiative entail and how is Korean planning to achieve it? Let’s learn more about the Korean Green New Deal.
