Ep.135 Rising anti-Asian hate crimes in the U.S., how can it be solved?

The increasing number of hate crime cases against Asians within the U.S. is creating instability nationwide. On March 16th, a deadly shooting in Atlanta took the lives of four Korean Americans and injured one person. Since the COVID-19 outbreak, the number of anti-Asian hate crime cases has spiked by 149% in 16 major U.S. cities.

The Korean communities and Asian American representatives are condemning the violent act, while President Biden also stressed his support for the passage of the Hate Crime Act. Amid the increasing number of hate crimes, we bring in experts to discuss how the issue can be effectively handled.
