It has gained popularity among consumers who want to recover from fatigue. Moreover, it has become possible to control the sleeping environment at home based on the IoT skills. When a sensor recognizes the pulse and breathing rates while sleeping, it is possible to analyze the sleeping patterns and the state of sleep. Also, the curtains are closed and the lights are turned off automatically. In order to analyze the state of sleep more effectively, sensors with advanced functions have been developed. Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute has developed a sensor that reacts 10 times more sensitive to the signals in comparison to the existing sensors. A variety of technologies for sound sleep have been continuously developed. We introduce the ongoing development of technologies for restful sleep.
