Professor Kim Kyung-Hee is a leading authority in the field of gifted and creative education. She currently works as a tenured professor of educational psychology at William & Mary.
Professor Kim earned her Ph.D. in Gifted and Creative Education at the University of Georgia in 2004. She has served as the Chair of the Creativity Network at the National Association for Gifted Children(NAGC) from 2014 to 2016.
Based on her various studies, she became the first non-American to win the E. Paul Torrance Award in 2018. The Torrance Award is considered as the Nobel Prize for creativity.
Professor Kim also strives to enhance the creative climate for Korean children through various Korean publications such as [Let them play Outside the Box] and [The Creativity Challenge].
Professor Kim Kyung-Hee has dedicated her research to creativity development education for over 30 years. Today on Heart-to-Heart we invited Professor Kim to share her thoughts on “creativity.”
