Billy Hart, a famous jazz drummer and educator, is the leader of the Billy Hart Quartet comprised of talented musicians and is called a witness to the history of jazz.
After stepping into the world of jazz in 1957, he soon began collaborating with top jazz musicians and broadened his musical spectrum. He gained diverse experience, having experimented with a wide range of music genres, before his debut album "Enchance" released in 1977. His much anticipated follow-up album was released nearly a decade later in 1985, and he released albums as a leader every 2 to 3 years. After gradually gaining fame as musician, he turned his eyes over to education and began spending more time training aspiring drummers. He traveled around the world to meet and instill hopes and dreams in young jazz musicians. When he's not teaching, he's practicing and performing with his group, the Billy Hart Quartet, who gained recognition for their modern creative sound.
Billy Hart has been in love with jazz ever since he was young, and has taken part in the recording of more than 600 albums for the past 50 years. He is now considered as a living legend who has mastered the art of jazz. In spite of all the disappointments he had in his 50-year career, he didn't give up and continued to communicate with the audience and other musicians.
