Temple food is made with fresh vegetables cultivated in the mountains and no chemical or artificial seasonings. It is prepared as slow food, in stark contrast to fast food, and with great care.
To discover the temple food of Korea, the "Tasty Trail" team went to Geumsansa, a mountain temple located in Gimje, North Jeolla Province. Enjoying temple food in the mountains proved to be an incomparable experience. Benjamin also visited the traditional 5-day farmers' market - a great place to experience local culture.
