Countless youth fought and risked their lives on the battlefield that was Korea 50 years ago. They were barely 20 years old back then. As members of the U.S. military aiding this country during the Korean War, they gave of themselves in an unforgettable way. The survivors took home a bit of Korea, too.
A group of them recently returned to visit the land in which they served. One veteran who couldn’t join the group, Edward, used to tell his wife that he had planned to come back here one day. It was a promise he had made with himself. He passed away in 2003, but his wife made the trip alone, in a gesture to uphold the promise.
Join these veterans as they witness a whole new Korea and confess their unforgotten memories, ones that have been suppressed for the last 50 years.
