The S. Korean government declared its 2050 carbon neutrality in October 2020. The Presidential Carbon Neutrality Committee, launched last May, is overseeing the nation’s net-zero policies and climate change initiatives across various sectors of our society. While the main blueprint was designed by the government, the process is actively led by the cooperation between private and public sectors, and individuals.
