1. President Moon Jae-in unveiled the details of the country's reduction plans for carbon gas emissions, internationally for the first time at the 26th UN Climate Change Conference at Glasgow that South Korea aims towards a 40% reduction of the total carbon gas emissions by 2030.
2. South Korea's biggest annual shopping sale campaign, "Korea Sale Festa", kicked off Monday. Participated by more than 2-thousand companies and 17 regional governments, including small and self-employed businesses. It marks the largest number since the event began 5 years ago, as the event will be held for the next two weeks.
3. South Korea reported 1-thousand-589 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, marking a second day in a row with less than 2-thousand cases on the country’s second day to the start of ‘Living with COVID19’ scheme.
