1. On Monday, South Korea reported 382 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the caseload below 400 in a week.

2. Health authorities said starting today, gatherings of up to eight people are allowed in cases such as families of brides and grooms gathering ahead of a wedding, or in cases where a child under the age of 6 is included in the group.

3. Today, the KDCA announced that South Korea will begin administering COVID-19 vaccines to members of the general public aged 75 and over starting next month.

4. 청와대 announced today that President 문재인 and First Lady 김정숙 will get their first COVID-19 AstraZeneca vaccine doses on the 23rd, ahead of the G7 Summit scheduled for June in the UK.

5. During a weekly meeting with senior 청와대 aides today, President 문재인 said that for the remainder of his term, top priority will be placed on "eradicating deep-rooted evils" related to real estate.

6. Ahead of the Biden administration’s senior officials' visit to South Korea and Japan this week, the U.S. State Department said on Sunday, local time, that "no relationship is more important" than the Seoul-Washington-Tokyo relationship.

7. In Myanmar, Sunday marked the highest daily death toll in one location since the coup, where at least 38 protesters were fatally shot in a single district of Yangon. The ruling junta also declared its first martial law in the district, allowing the military to assume all authority in the township from the police.

8. Following the Quad Summit held Friday, leaders of the alliance from the United States, Australia, Japan and India described the Quad as a “flexible" group of countries “sharing similar views and committed to ensuring peace and prosperity".

9. On Sunday, the Dutch government said that the Netherlands would suspend the use of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine until March 29th, following reports from Denmark and Norway about possible serious side effects including blood clotting.

10. Sunday, local time, Korean American violist Richard Yongjae O’Neill, won the Grammy Awards' Best Classical Instrumental Solo for his recording of "Theofanidis: Concerto For Viola And Chamber Orchestra". It is his first Grammy win after three nominations in the past.
