1. South Korea’s daily COVID-19 cases recorded4-thousand 2-hundred 7 on Monday. The figure was below 5-thousand for the first time in 20 days. However, the number of critically ill patients stood at 1-thousand 78, remaining over 1-thousand for a week.
2. President Moon Jae-in had a luncheon with the heads of six conglomerates in South Korea. The participants included the vice chairman of Samsung, Lee Jae-yong. It was the firstmeeting between President Moon and vice chairman Lee, after his release from prison on parole.
3. Russian president Vladimir Putin warned the Western powers yesterday of possible military responses if NATO refuses to ensure security in Russia.
