1. On Wednesday, South Korea reported 707 new COVID-19 cases, with the number of new daily cases sharply bouncing above 700 for the first time in nearly two weeks.

2. To encourage more active vaccination participation, the South Korean government is offering incentives even to those that have only received their first dose, including eased restrictions on gatherings with immediate family members.

3. At a luncheon meeting today with leaders of the five major political parties, President 문재인 expressed hope for bipartisan cooperation from the National Assembly to implement the agreements reached at his recent summit with U.S. President Joe Biden.
