1. President Moon Jae-in during his state visit to the United Arab Emirate signed a 3-point-5 billion U.S. dollar MOU for a defense deal last Sunday. South Korea will send its mid-range surface-to-air missiles, known as 천궁-Ⅱ to the UAE.
2. North Korea launched two short-range ballistic missiles off its East coast today, already the 4th time this year. The Joint Chief of Staff said the missiles traveled about 3-hundred-80km at an altitude of 42km.
3. The South Korean government announced on Monday that they will lift the nationwide vaccine pass system enforcement starting from tomorrow in places where people mostly wear face masks. The venues include department stores, libraries, museums, and private education institutions.
