1. South Korea on Wednesday reported over 7-thousand-175 new COVID-19 cases, the highest number of daily infection cases since the start of the pandemic. The number of critically ill patients have also jumped to 840, while more Omicron cases have been reported.
2. President Moon Jae-in will make a four-day state visit to Australia starting this Sunday on the invite of Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
The two countries will strengthen their cooperation for raw materials and urea water solution.
