1. Marking the 58th Trade Day, President Moon said Monday that this year will be recorded as the year of trade in South Korea's economic history, cherishing the country's robust performance. He also vowed to address global supply chain concerns by diversifying import channels...and by increasing domestic production.
2. The Ministry of Environment will kick off “Carbon Neutrality Week” starting today until December 10th, in collaboration with 17 central government ministries and organizations. The one-week event marks the first anniversary of the administration’s declaration of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
3. The government begins the four-week stricter social distancing rules to contain the rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus and the omicron variant. The capital region will limit gatherings to 6, while other regions will be limited to 8. Vaccine pass systems will also be implemented to restaurants, cafes, cram schools and internet cafes.
