South Korea added over 100-thousand new COVID-19 cases as of 9 PM Wednesday, after its total caseload surpassed the 20 million-mark the previous day.
There were 104,490 new cases reported, marking a slight drop from the figure announced at the same time the day before.
However it's the third consecutive day where new infections were above 100-thousand.
Of the new cases, around 49 percent are concentrated in the greater Seoul area.
And over the past week, the country's average daily new infections stand at around 86-thousand.
