The Tokyo Olympics on Saturday saw some highs and lows for South Korean athletes, winning one bronze medal for the day.
That bronze came in fencing, where the women's sabre team beat Italy in a comeback rally, and that was also the country's first medal in that event.
On the fencing team are Kim Ji-yeon, Seo Ji-yeon, Choi Soo-yeon and Yoon Ji-su.
Korea, in fact competed in four fencing events at this Olympics and won medals in all of them.
And in women's volleyball, it was a nail-biter against rivals Japan, but Korea pulled through in five sets to make it to the quarterfinals.
They'll face Serbia on Tuesday.
But in two other team sports, Korea suffered bitter defeats.
In football, against Mexico, Korea lost six to three and were eliminated.
And in baseball, Korea lost to the United States 4 to 2, but are still in contention.
They'll play the Dominican Republic later today.
