Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida announced on Thursday that Japan is going to start admitting foreign travelers again from June 10th if they're part of a tour group.
They'd been banned since April 2020 because of the pandemic.
Only group tours booked through travel agencies will be permitted for the time being.
Japan has been letting people in for most non-tourism purposes like business, though, and starting next Wednesday, June 1st, it's going to double the limit on inbound travelers per day to 20-thousand.
There'll also be no more testing or self-isolation for people arriving from 98 countries, including South Korea, the U.S. and China.
Flights will also resume between Gimpo airport in Seoul and Haneda airport in Tokyo.
