South Korea has ranked ninth in a 2021 Global Health and Security Index evaluation of 195 countries.
In the report, released jointly by Johns Hopkins University and the U.S. non-governmental organization 'The Nuclear Threat Initiative', South Korea scored 65.4 out of 100, for a place in the top 10.
The evaluation is divided into six categories.
South Korea ranked 4th in terms of 'response', but scored the lowest in 'prevention,' only managing to rank 30th.
Topping the index was the U.S., followed by Australia and Finland.
