Nobody should be forcibly administered with COVID-19 vaccines: UN human rights chief Updated: 2021-12-09 07:49:54 KST

The UN human rights chief has stressed that forced vaccinations, under no circumstances, can be acceptable, adding countries need to respect human rights when introducing vaccine mandates.
In a video message to a Human Rights Council seminar on Wednesday, Michelle Bachelet said there are human rights issues that must be carefully considered before countries make COVID-19 vaccinations compulsory.
She urged countries to only consider such an extreme step when other less intrusive measures, such as face masks and social distancing, have proven ineffective.
