South Korea added its highest number of COVID-19 infections today at over five thousand.
And the Omicron variant is adding more concerns to the already bad situation.
For more, we are joined by Professor Yoo Byung-wook from Soonchunhyang University Hospital.

The U.S. FDA panel narrowly endorsed the use of Merck's oral COVID-19 treatment pill.
But the drug is reported to be significantly less effective than initially reported and there are some safety issues.
