Senior officials from South Korea and China met virtually on Tuesday to discuss economic cooperation in the future.
Seoul's second vice minister Choi Jong-moon and Beijing's Vice Commerce Minister Ren Hongbin held the joint economic committee session.
Marking 30 years of diplomatic ties next year South Korea urged close communication for the smooth imports of urea, and stressed the need for coordination in the cultural field - such as music, games and movies.
In response, China suggested cooperation in the digital and low-carbon economy.
