South Korean Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum said Friday that the country would ensure the fair and timely supply of COVID-19 vaccines worldwide.
At the virtual Asia-Europe Meeting summit, Kim said that South Korea is trying to solve the vaccine supply issue.
The country has produced four types of COVID-19 vaccines under consignment agreement and will keep on working as a global vaccine hub.
At the retreat session after the summit, Kim also commented on the possibility of an end-of-war declaration between the two Koreas, saying it is a goal that cannot be given up.
He added this would be the first step toward peace on the Korean peninsula.
