South Korea has seen another big jump in exports this month.
According to data from the Korea Customs Service, the country's exports rose 36.1 percent on-year in the first 20 days of October thanks to the growing demand for memory chips, semiconductors and petroleum products.
The main destinations of the shipments were China and the U.S.
Exports have grown on-year for 11-consecutive months from November 2020 to last month.
In September, exports reached 55.8 billion U.S. dollars, the highest recorded in the country's history.
