South Korea has released a new set of guidelines to ensure a safe testing environment for all the high school seniors who'll be taking the college entrance exam next month.
The Ministry of Education decided Tuesday to allow students currently infected with COVID-19 take the test at designated hospitals and government care centers… and to assign those in quarantine to separate test sites.
There will also be separate rooms at regular test sites for those who have symptoms on exam day, which is November 18th.
Also, to prevent infections in the lead-up to the test, in the week before the exam… all classes for high school seniors will be online.
And in the two weeks prior, the authorities will be monitoring the virus prevention measures at academies, cram schools and study cafes.
