And England, meanwhile, is looking to adopt vaccine passports by the end of this month.
UK vaccines minister Nadhim Zahawi said on Sunday local time that now is the right time to start requiring vaccine passports in places that hold large crowds of people.
Those going to nightclubs and other indoor venues will have to prove that they've had the full two doses before they can enter.
Despite some opposition from members of Parliament and some venue owners, the minister said that this measure is "the best way" to prevent another spike in infections or lockdown.
The minister also said that the government is looking into approving booster shots for people over 50 by the end of September.
