U.S. raises travel advisory level for S. Korea to level two Updated: 2021-08-04 05:58:08 KST

Due to a surge in cases, the U.S. State Department has raised its travel advisory level for South Korea from the lowest level one to level two the third highest in its four-tier system.
The last time that happened was in late November.
It has newly added Greece, Ireland, Kazakhstan and the Marshall Islands to its level four category which bans travel to those countries.
So far, there are some 90 countries on the State Department's level four tier.
