Good morning. Sudden rain is hiking up humidity making it feel quite uncomfortable, and we'll have another sweltering day. Highs will go up around 35 degrees Celsius again in the capital, while Daegu will be as steamy as Thursday.
Morning temperatures in the capital are nearing 28 degrees under mostly sunny skies and elsewhere is also waking up to lows similar to yesterday.
Afternoon readings will also be similar ranges from Thursday along with mostly sunny skies, then rain will start from Jeju from the evening, which will spread nationwide by Saturday.
Eastern regions will see rain of up to 50 millimeters while the west will get 5 to 30 millimeters. For now, Seoul is forecast to get showers before lunch time tomorrow with a moderate amount in store.
But the rain won't give us relief from the heat, which is likely to stick around through the first week of August.
