BTS does it again.
The K-pop superstars sit at No.1 on Billboard's Hot100 chart for the sixth week in a row with their latest track "Butter" after beating the likes of from Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat and Justin Bieber.
This is the longest run for a group since 1995 with "Butter" being downloaded 153,600 times last week and with 11 million streams in the U.S.
Proving the band's popularity worldwide, "Butter" topped iTunes charts in more than 100 regions only a day after its release. It also racked up more than 108 million views on YouTube within the first 24 hours of its release, beating the group's previous record with "Dynamite" which reached around 101 million.
BTS has been breaking record after record after becoming the first Korean act to debut at No.1 on the Billboard chart with "Dynamite" in 2020…which also earned its first Grammy nomination. "Butter" is their fourth song to make it to the top of the charts, including "Dynamite", "Life Goes On", and a remix version of "Savage Love."
Butter has also come first in an official Euro 2020 social media poll with 46 percent of the 4.2 million votes meaning the song will be played at the European Football Championship at Wembley Stadium.
Other contenders included Usher and Louis Tomlinson from One Direction.
Meanwhile, the virtual reality exhibition "Korea: Cubically Imagined" kicked off on Tuesday at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris and will showcase some of the band's concert performances.
