South Korean consumers are apparently still optimistic about the economy for a fourth month in a row.
The Bank of Korea says its Composite Consumer Sentiment Index in June was at 110.3 the highest it's been since January 2018,… well before the pandemic.
From the month before, it was up 5.1 points.
A reading above 100 means optimists about the economy outnumber pessimists.
The central bank attributed this to the recovery,… citing the faster than expected vaccine rollout and strong exports.
