South Korea's service and retail sectors are continuing to recover from the pandemic.
According to the Finance Ministry's monthly economic "Greenbook" report on Friday, the country is seeing stronger domestic demand and employment.
Overall industrial output was up in March from the month before for the second month in a row thanks to the service sector.
Retail sales in March rose both on-month and on-year.
And in April, overall, the number of people employed increased by 652-thousand for the biggest on-year gain in almost seven years.
Exports are strong, thanks to demand for semiconductors and petrochemical products.
