The European Commission forecasts the EU economy to rebound faster than previously expected due to vaccinations, relief packages, eased restrictions and the global economic recovery.
It predicts the bloc's GDP to grow four.two percent in 2021 and by four.four percent in 2022, both higher than the commission's forecasts in February.
The eurozone's GDP is forecast to grow by four.three and four.four percent, respectively.
Germany's GDP is expected to return to pre-pandemic levels by the end of the year.
France and Spain by the end of 2022.
