Moody's maintains S. Korea's credit rating at Aa2 with stable outlook Updated: 2021-05-12 16:53:59 KST

Moody's Investors Service has decided to keep its credit rating for South Koreaat double-A-two the agency's third-highest rating and it kept its outlook for Korea at "stable."
South Korea has been at double-A-two since 2015 when it was upgraded one notch.
Moody's said this reflects the country's strong fundamentals, citing its swift recovery from the lows of the pandemic.
Moody's also raised its 2021 economic growth forecast for Korea to 3.5 percent from its earlier forecast of 3.1 percent, citing strong demand for exports and the government's accommodative fiscal policy.
