Warmer conditions tomorrow for central regions...clean air nationwide Updated: 2021-05-11 15:44:51 KST

Today conditions were close to those usually seen in summer with temperatures about 12 degrees higher than yesterday. Readings will be on a rising trend from this point on for central regions, including the Seoul metropolitan area. On Thursday and Friday, the capital will see sweltering conditions with daytime highs getting up to 29 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, clean air has been restored in the capital area. The nation’s air quality will continue to remain in the "good" category tomorrow. And while winds will diminish later tonight, layers of fog will develop across the coastal areas of the south and the west.

Patches of thin clouds will pass over for the morning hours across the nation, while Jeju Island will see light showers. The capital will start off at 15 degrees Celsius, which is about 5 degrees warmer than today.

For the daytime, the west of the nation will be warmer, while the east will be relatively breezy. Seoul and Gwangju will get up to 28 degrees. Gyeongju and Busan 21 degrees.

Conditions are especially dry across Gangwon-do Province with alerts issued. Please take precautions against forest fires.

That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
