South Korea's consumer sentiment is up this month for the fourth month in a row, and is the highest it's been since January last year, before the pandemic.
The Bank of Korea's Composite Consumer Sentiment Index is up 1.7 points on-month in April, at 102.2.
A reading above 100 means optimists outnumber pessimists.
The central bank said this is good news for the economic recovery, and said it's thanks to strong exports, improving jobs numbers and the vaccine campaign.
