Stocks on Wall Street backed off from their new highs on Monday, taking a breather. Tech stocks on the Nasdaq down more than the others. What's the story in the global markets?
In local stocks, it was another gain today. The KOSPI closing above 32-hundred points. The KOSDAQ was down in the morning, but recovering that and posting a small gain. Tell us about the Korean markets.
The South Korean government is launching a crackdown on the use of cryptocurrencies for things like money laundering and tax evasion. The police will be given more tools also to trace transactions. Tell us about this crackdown and what effects you think it might have.
Bitcoin happens to have been down sharply in the past few days. There seem to be lots of factors at play, including regulations and rumors of regulations. Plus there's just so much liquidity out there. But what do you see happening in the crypto space going forward?
