South Korea reported 658 new COVID-19 cases today adding to concerns of a possible fourth wave of the pandemic.
All but 28 of those cases were local transmissions.
Health authorities say cluster infections continue at family gatherings, restaurants, churches, and other places.
The government earlier signaled it may raise the social distancing level if conditions worsen, but said, it will first monitor the situation.
As of Saturday, over 100-thousand new people received their first vaccine shots.
So far, over 1.4 million people have gotten their first shots.
