Warmer weather ahead... nationwide showers tomorrow Updated: 2021-04-15 15:39:06 KST

Daytime highs approached the seasonal norms today, and all of the cold wave alerts across the country have now been lifted. The capital can expect dry weather for the rest of tonight, but for tomorrow, nationwide showers will return. There won't be much rain, with about 5 to 20 millimeters for parts of central regions and Jeollabuk-do Province, and less than 5 millimeters for Gyeongsang-do and eastern Gangwon-do provinces.

With the help of warm southerly winds, tomorrow morning will start off warmer than today. Seoul will begin at 9 degrees Celsius.

While the capital will still have some sunshine during the day, other regions will have rainy, cloudy weather. Seoul will reach 16 degrees, Gwangju and Busan 18. Daegu will get up to 19 degrees.

On Saturday, inland regions will see another bout of rain during the daytime. Temperatures will continue to rise for the next few days.

Meanwhile, air quality may temporarily drop to bad levels tomorrow, due to thick layers of yellow dust that are behind the rainclouds.

That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
