A South Korean ship and its captain that were detained in Iran for three months have been released.
In February, Iran released 19 crewmembers out of 20, except for the captain.
Seoul's foreign ministry says the ship along with its captain departed Iran safely this morning.
The ministry adds the rest of the crew are in good shape and so is the vessel.
In January, the ship was detained in the Strait of Hormuz for allegedly polluting the sea, but Tehran provided no evidence.
It was widely speculated to be a way to pressure Seoul into returning Iranian assets frozen in South Korea due to U.S. sanctions.
