A U.S.-based think tank forecasts the world economy will grow five.six percent in 2021.
The outlook by the Peterson Institute for International Economics is point-nine percentage points higher than its last forecast of four.seven percent made in October last year.
It now projects the U.S. economy to grow six.three percent, China eight-and-a-half percent and India ten.five percent in 2021.
However, projections were lowered for most of the eurozone as well as Japan, Russia and Brazil.
The institute forecasts the global economy to grow four.four percent in 2022.
