Amid the cold spells, dry conditions are intensifying across the nation.
Let's go to our Lee Seung-min at the Weather Center.
Seung-min, dry alerts have been issued to more regions, including here in the capital.
Well, Conn-young. The dry and windy weather is likely to prolong for the weekend. Dry weather advisories are issued for parts of the south and east coasts, and also in the greater Seoul area. And a warning has been placed in coastal areas of Gangwon-do Province. No rain is in forecast for at least a week, so it will take some time for this dryness to ease. Do be careful of forest fires.
The morning will start off frosty with Seoul at minus-two degrees Celsius and Chuncheon at minus-six degrees.
The daytime will be a tad warmer than today. Seoul reach 6 degrees, Daejeon 8 degrees. Busan will reach 12 degrees.
Overcast and windy conditions will be greeting us for the next few days. Another wintry, cold front will kick in next Tuesday, dipping morning lows down to sub-zero figures.
Some sleet and snow is in the forecast across northern Gyeonggi-do Province and parts of the southwest through early morning. There may be icy patches covering the roads, so be extra careful when driving.
That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
