Good morning, Typhoon Maysak is located just 430 kilometers south of Seogwipo on Jeju and will pass near waters off Jeju and make a landfall close to Busan early tomorrow. As the typhoon is bringing a massive amount of moisture, it's already raining across much of the county.
For a closer look, Maysak will reach near Seogwipo on Jeju at around 7 PM, before reaching Busan by 3 AM on Thursday then pass near Gangneung in Gangwon-do Province by 9AM tomorrow.
Typhoon alerts have been issued for land and waters off Jeju and with high seas advisories in parts of the south and west seas but typhoon and related advisories will expand as the day moves along.
Maysak could bring heavy downpours and strong winds as well as trigger storm surges. From today, the east coast will see more than 400 millimeters of downpours into Thursday along with strong gusts.
Checking on today's temperatures, morning lows are slightly higher than the same time yesterday ranging from 23 to 25 degrees Celsius.
No heat alerts. Highs will be in the mid to upper twenties.
