Son Heung-min returns to S. Korea amid EPL's suspended season Updated: 2020-03-30 09:56:42 KST

Tottenham Hotspur's South Korean star Son Heung-min flew home over the weekend, after the English Premier League season was suspended due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The 28-year-old, who broke his arm during a league match against Aston Villa in February, was scheduled to rejoin his teammates to undergo rehab and train.
However, with Tottenham's training center closed, the South Korean international chose to return to South Korea, and continue his rehab here.
As part of quarantine measures, Son will be in self-isolation for two weeks before he resumes his return to fitness.
