S. Korea's PM holds press conference for foreign media outlets Updated: 2020-03-27 12:34:57 KST

Now, that press conference should begin at 3, and there'll be simultaneous interpretation of the PM's remarks in English.
At the site of the briefing is Arirang's Kim Mok-yeon, and she joins us right now as we wait for it to start.
Mok-yeon, what's coming up in this press conference?

Hi Devin, I'm here at the Korea Press Center in Central Seoul, where Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun will soon begin his press conference with the foreign media.
In today's session, the Prime Minister is expected to speak on the the government's quarantine measures to contain COVID-19, as well as its contingency plans in case the situation gets worse.
Alongside the Prime Minister, the heads of the Office for Government Policy Coordination and the Prime Minister's Secretariat will also be at today's session.
Like you've mentioned the press conference will be broadcast live on Arirang TV from 3 PM Korea time which is in just a minute or two.
This press conference on COVID-19 is the second of its kind for the foreign media -- the first one was in early March.
There's a great deal of attention focused on what Prime Minister Chung will say because he's been personally leading the Central Disease Control Headquarters since February, which serves as the government's control tower in responding to the pandemic.
That's all I have for now. I'll be back with the details in our later newscast.
Back to you Devin.
