Heavy rain warnings were issued for the first time this year over the mountains of Jeju Island today. But despite the rain, it has been a warm day. Natalie Seok is at the Weather Center. Natalie, when can we expect it to dry up?
We're going to need our umbrellas until tomorrow morning in Seoul. But most areas will dry up by the afternoon, while the east coast will see it rain into early Saturday. Meanwhile, it'll keep raining heavily over Jeju and the south coast. We'll see lighter rain as we move further up the country. Up to 150 millimeters more rain is expected over the mountains of Jeju.
And those mountains are under heavy rain 'warnings', while the rest of Jeju is under heavy rain advisories. Preliminary strong wind advisories have also been issued along coastal areas and Jeju Island.
A rainy morning is in store for us on Friday. Seoul will kick off at 11 degrees Celsius, Jeju 14 and Busan 15.
During the daytime, it'll be a little cooler than it was today. The mercury will reach 16 in Seoul, 17 in Chuncheon and 20 in Daegu.
Seoul will be dry by the afternoon, but it'll be warm and windy in Tokyo.
I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.
